Founded in 2013, Byron Robotics features FIRST® teams K-12, the first in southeastern Minnesota. Our flagship team is the CyBears, a FIRST Robotics Competition team. They participate at the annual Northern Lights Regional in Duluth, Minnesota. The CyBears have participated in this regional for 4 years, gone to the state championships twice, and the world championship once. The Byron Robotics program strives to inspire students to pursue STEM careers (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics). They achieve this goal by teaching design skills at a young age, and by developing new programs and activities for the students of Byron Public Schools.
